Pavilion Project awarded £300K CFAP grant
The Pavilion Project is moving from strength to strength with the news that the Welsh Assembly Government has awarded the Project £300K under the Community Facilities and Activities Programme (CFAP). Specifically the grant has been awarded for capital costs associated with the restoration, refurbishment and re-activation of the Pavilion.
Said Pavilion Project Director Maggie Knight, “We’re thrilled to have this crucial support and are grateful to the Welsh Assembly Government for its help to reopen a significant community asset which aims also to tell the stories of the people who used the building in past decades.”
The Welsh Assembly Government joins other supporters, Heritage Lottery Fund and Vale of Glamorgan Council, in providing significant funding for the Pavilion project.
