Disability Arts Cymru - Stronger Together

Penarth Pier Pavilion are delighted to host Disability Arts Cymru’s Annual Exhibition 2017, part of a showcase and tour of work created by Wales based disabled and deaf artists, or those living with long term physical and/or mental health conditions.
The artwork being shown is a selection of pieces chosen from the DAC Open Exhibition, and includes work from emerging, up-and-coming artists, as well as professional established artists. All are members of Disability Arts Cymru (DAC)
Disability Arts Cymru’s aim is to raise the profile of the artists involved; increase artwork sales; support and develop career progression and to build relationships between peers and with exhibiting venues.
The Theme this year is Stronger Together: they asked for artists’ to consider the theme personally and/or politically, for example:- relationships; partnerships; families; the power of people together; Unity; Solidarity or in response to Brexit and issues around Immigration.
